The Kronatar
- When the question arises about what exactly that spectre was, Argond sighs and shrugs. "Alas, I know nothing of this Raven. There's certainly nothing about it in Merveidt's Baleful Bestiary. But, I have seen the name once before." He draws a yellowed, folded piece of parchment from his travel pack and turns it over hesitantly in his hands, then carefully unfolds it. "This is a letter from my old arcana tutor in Bellbridge, Magus Olario. Any of you are welcome to read it if you wish, but it's a bit... long-winded. He was that way. The part of interest to us is when he writes:" He clears his throat and begins to read aloud, "Ancient rumblings centuries-dead seem to rise. Something stirs in the Underdark - I spent some time below when I was younger, some three centuries ago. Little did I realize then the evil that was to be released - but barely contained by myself and those who were brave enough to face The Kronatar and The Raven. I go to seek truth on what now rumbles afresh." Argond stops and looks to the others and says fearfully, "That's all he wrote on it... Sounds ominous."
