Argond Elwicke
Human Wizard (Orb of Imposition)

Physical Description:
Argond Elwicke is a leanly-built young human man with a gaunt face that is angular and usually unshaven.  His flaming red hair is always cut short, and his eyes are a piercing gray.  He usually wears a dark-hued long-sleeved shirt with a gray waistcoat, common trousers and a pair of leather boots.  He can often be seen fidgeting with a dark violet orb that is just the right size to fit in the palm of his hand.

Personality:
Argond has a cheerful, but notably nervous demeanor.  If asked he has no shame in discussing his multitude of phobias: dark waters, spiders, ghosts, heights, illness, swords, traps, shellfish, and so on.  Yet, he is also possessing of an incredible curiosity that tends to lead him to overcome his many fears so that he might make new discoveries.  Another character fault is that he tends to be lazy, avoiding manual labor whenever possible.  In fact, he usually tends to prefer using his Mage Hand to perform tasks rather than his own hands.  Aside from these faults he is a decent fellow: well-read, exceedingly clever and very loyal to his friends.

Background Summary:
Argond Elwicke was raised and has lived for his entire eighteen years at his family's granary in Bellbridge.  He had always been inquisitive by nature and loved to learn new things and solve problems.  The only thing that kept his rampant curiosity from getting him killed at a young age were his numerous phobias, although he often overcame these as well when he thought he might discover something interesting. In addition to his standard education at Bellbridge's Pelorite temple he received top-flight tutoring in the arcane arts from Magus Olario, a gruff but wise old wizard who was rumored to have once been a famous adventurer.  Argond recently learned that the Elwickes are not his real parents, and that he came to them under strange circumstances that he seeks to learn more about.
