Tibbons

Formerly a Karrnathi elf, Tibbons sacrificed himself in a failed attempt to assassinate Prince Oargev by detonating an explosive rune on his arm and wighting himself and the guards around him. The party managed to destroy the wights created by Tibbons and later tracked the undead assassin into the sewers. Tibbon's stump of an arm had reformed into a tentacle, which he employed to great effect in his battle against the party, almost killing them with his deadly touch. The party barely made it through and destroyed the Karrnathi assassin for good.

It was later discovered that Tibbons had been using soulbinding magic, powers granted from a pact with "dead" gods or otherworldly beings. The runes on his body implied that whoever had sent him was also capable of casting powerful necromantic magic. Tibbons' dying words made little reference to who his master was, merely alluding to the existence of someone known as "the Captain".
