The Glitterhame:

The Wraathguard's Journal of these 40 days can be seen here here.

The legend of the smith Durgeddin the Black is well known among dwarf-kind and scholars.  Tales of Durgeddin's Vengeance, the Smith's War and of his magical blades are still sung in songs and ballads today.  He was a master smith who forged blades of surpassing quality and power. Centuries ago, Durgeddin's home was sacked by orcs. Durgeddin led the remnants of his clan to a new stronghold somewhere in the Giantshield mountains.  He called his new home Khundrukar, which translates to the Glitterhame.

From there, he waged a decades long vendetta against all orc-kind.  About a hundred years ago, his story ended.  The Glitterhame was overrun and destroyed, killing Durgeddin and the rest of his clan.

Notable NPCs:

- Great Ulfe: The ogre leader of the orcs inhabiting the fortress.

- Courana and Geradil:  Two human captives rescued from the orc prison.

- Nightscale:  The black dragon that was slain far beneath the dwarven fortress.
