Designed and commissioned by Lord Aram Lazard, the Lazard family manor of Sterlingview is Freehold's first stone building, and also possesses the village's only glass windows. A gorgeous and dignified sprawl of a mansion, Sterlingview appears ostentatious at first glance alongside the rest of Freehold, with its modest ranch houses and humble cottages; even the fortress of the town center cannot match its grandeur.

Positioned somewhat less than half a mile north-by-northeast of the town center, Sterlingview is a three-story affair of gothic influence, modeled after the cosmopolitan architecture of Waterdeep's Sea Ward and decorated with gables and several taller spires. Two wings extend east and west of the main house, containing kitchens, two dining rooms, an art gallery, a library, and more. Inside, its polished, black marble floors reflect the glow of numerous chandeliers alight with heatless magic. Outside, the approaching road is flanked by carefully-tended native trees, ending in a circular drive around a magnificent fountain. The rear yard has been converted into a sweeping garden, complete with hedge maze, greenhouse, and even a meditation grove, plus expansive room for open-air galas.

The Lord of the manor keeps his personal office here, from which he operates in his capacity as Freehold's only attorney and its greatest investor of venture capital.
