A druid sanctuary for time out of mind, Skreet Pranz is Mahld's home, as it was that of her predecessors. Located approximately seventy klicks north-by-northeast of home and about a hundred and fifty clicks south-by-southeast of Ray Stark's base, it is a sheltered basin of rock surrounded by a high, complicated maze of stone corridors. Hidden at its heart, in the shadow of a large central formation, is a small oasis of fresh water and greenery. Over the years, Mahld and the other druids who came before her have hand-altered the shrine to add some simple mechanisms for bodily functions such as bathing.

An etched and chiseled doorway leads into a medium-sized, well-ventilated cave just off the basin; this chamber is Mahld's personal living space, with a sandy floor and numerous shelves cut back into the walls for extra clothing and similar. The desert hermit keeps a bed and kitchen supplies here, as well, such as pots meant to be filled with charcoal or fat for frying and roasting. The whole cave is probably big enough for a handful of people to share it in relative comfort, but any more than that are forced to sleep outside. Thankfully, the shape of the rocky depression is such that it blocks the wasteland winds during the night, and always has shade during the heat of the day.

Skreet Pranz is well outside Aster geobounds and too far away for anyone to consider patrolling nearby, making it a safe place to lie low and avoid guild attention. What might theoretically happen to any raiders who dare consider violating the sanctity of the druid shrine is left to the imagination, but there is no evidence such a thing has happened for a considerable span of time.
