Elves

There are four main Elven races; Night Elves, Sky Elves, High Elves and True Elves.

It was the High Elves, the most skilled in magic, who first 'discovered' Ascalon.  They formed the Eldar Concordat with the Night and Sky tribes with the goal of conquering Ascalon and dividing up it's riches amongst them.  Lead by the High Elves, the Concordat began mass pilgrimages from their home world to Ascalon.

Night Elves are as tall and lean as their Elvish cousins, fair of features and pale of skin.  They settled in the Moonlit Vale, among the tall trees.  Proud and skilled warriors, they served the Concordat as a militia and guard force.  They are adept at seeing in the dark.

Sky Elves have a slightly darker skin tone than the others and the same lean build and features.  They settled on a mountaintop and became masters of the sky ship, wooden aerial vessels propelled by the wind.  Great explorers and merchants, Sky Elves served the Concordat as convoy masters, transporting goods between elvish settlements.  The Sky Elf ruling family has learned to summon and control winds.

High Elves.

True Elves are the smallest group of Elves on Ascalon, confining their attentions to the city of Thiazalon.  Highly skilled in magic, though not the masters that the High Elves are were, they rely upon their magics for all things.  Unlike their leaner cousins, True Elves are stockier bordering on obese.
