Portowa Island
Portowa (Port) Island makes up a large region in the Northeastern part of Gdansk. The territory in the southern part of the island is currently split up between Merchant Union forces and those civilians living in Forest City. Present on the southern part of the island are the Merchant Union Distillery, Merchant Union Fortress, Portowa Island Rail Yard, and Forest City. By contrast, the northern part of the island was home to a major harbor and port facility, prior to being hit by a tactical nuclear strike during the war. Also present on the northern part of the island is Westerplatte, a peninsula that extends out along the mouth of the Martwa Wisla river.
