You're about to embark on the travels of your life in The World. Many different people of The World have various names for it.
Most of them also have names for the part of The World where they live.
A Classic Staple of many Fantasy Worlds holds true for this World as well: There was a Time Before and there is a Time Now.
Over the ages, The World has seen Apocalyptic Events bringing about changes.
The word "Apocalypse" really just means "a revelation", though it is often understood that it is a World Shattering/Altering revelation.
Thus, in the distant path, the first Apocalyptic event on record is The Descension, referring to the point in the History of the World
where the Winged Elven race of Avarial arrived on The World from their distant home.
