Character Creation

Here's an excellent tool for building Call of Cthulhu D20 characters online:

Please use the RPOL.NET dice roller to generate your base stats and insert them at the external site

Here are the roles we need to fulfill:

Producer a make-it happen kind of person with computer skills, bluff and negotiation skills. Perhaps a fair bit of intimidate as well. Key stat: WIS or INT

Videographer a technician working with a camera and lights. They must have Videography as a Craft  and probably Electronic as a Knowledge skill and Repair as well. Key stat: INT

Sound Engineer  another technician working with microphones and recorders. They must have Audio Engineer as a Craft and probably Electronic as a Knowledge skill and Repair as well.

Talent the person holding the microphone in front of the camera and conducting the interviews. They must have Performance: Interviewer (or Actor), Diplomacy and Sense Motive as skills. Key stat: CHA

Researcher a person who digs into the internet and discovers what is going on or what has happened. Must have Computer Use skill as well as Research and Gather Information. Key stat: INT

Writer the script writer is a craftsman with a pen, turning dry facts into entertaining commentary for the Talent to spout on camera. Must have Craft: Writing skill along with Computer Use and Innuendo. Key stat: WIS

Roustabout this is the guy who deals with the luggage and transportation aspects of things. Must have Drive, Intimidate, Knowledge: Vehicles, Repair and Operate Heavy Machinery skills. Key stat: STR or CON

You can create any kind of character you like as long as you can fulfill one of these roles. I will create NPC dossiers for unfilled roles by the time the game starts.

You may have any weapons you wish, but you will be flying (from Philadelphia, PA  to Durango, CO) to start and we will role play how you get any firearms from here to there.
