The Collected Information On The West Marches
Contained within the myriad of hand-written books in the Verdee Memorial Boarding School is all the information about the West Marches and its history, as discovered by adventurers throughout the years and told to Grump and/or Sophia for record-keeping (though Sophia writes most of it down herself, as Grump is far too busy running the Roaring King tavern). As the self-proclaimed Knowledge Keeper of Verdee, Sophia religiously records everything she can about the denizens of the Marches and the locations therein for reference by adventurers.
