Lost in the annals of time; overshadowed by epochs of seemingly greater importance; minimized by more recent figures of history.  For all the reasons we ignore them, those who fought against Pivandros and sacrificed greatly because of it are the reason we are here today.

Introduction
At the point where civilized and uncivilized space met, there in the Outer Rim and the greater Unknown Regions, a threat of enormous proportions emerged, nearly undetected by the various governments of the time.  If it were not for the actions of a few who showed exceptional awareness, courage, and tenacity the threat would have slowly consumed the galaxy to the last inhabited celestial rock.  Despite their exceptional feats, even against great and sometimes insurmountable odds, their actions have dimmed and eventually been extinguished by time.  Based upon extensive research of nearly all available sources, this chronicle brings these individuals and their struggle for galactic salvation back into the light.
